Global Health Fellows

Goal: To connect Pfizer colleagues with programs to help improve health in the developing world

Targeted Areas: Underserved communities worldwide.

Start Date: 2003

Pfizer's Commitment: Pfizer colleagues commit to up to six-month assignments working with nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) and multilateral organizations (MLOs) addressing HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, malaria, and other devastating diseases in developing countries.

Fellowship assignments are designed by our partners according to their needs, and Pfizer funds the Fellows' transportation, lodging and other expenses while maintaining their positions within the company. During their assignments, colleagues train and support their local counterparts, transferring skills so that the important contributions they make are sustainable over time.
